Konstantin Dedyulya | R&D Director, Science

Ph.D. in Biology

Author and co-author of more than 70 scientific publications, developer of test systems for the viral infections real-time diagnostics by PCR and ELISA methods. Several National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus state and interstate programs scientific projects executive. “ERA Chair in SynBio” European group’s project executive.

Dr. Dedyulya received his Ph.D. in Biology from Belarusian State Medical University for studies of enterovirus capsid protein structure and development of the ELISA kit for enterovirus infection diagnostics.

He worked as a Development Engineer at Alkor Bio (Saint Petersburg, Russia) and developed the PCR kits for real-time microbial pathogens diagnostics.

As a Senior Researcher at the Republican Research and Practical Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology (Minsk, Belarus) Dr. Dedyulya implemented research projects on development of the PCR kits for real-time enteroviruses, noroviruses and polyomaviruses detection. Besides, he carried out molecular and epidemiology studies and typing of these viruses by sequencing.

Dr. Dedyulya is a member of the Synthetic biology group at the University of Tartu (Estonia) where he has been working on quantification of translation elongation rates and proteome allocation in the budding yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
